Isaiah 61:3 — Our namesake and our mission
Welcome to Beauty for Ashes — inspired by Isaiah 61:2-4. We exist to proclaim God's grace, declare freedom to the broken, and turn mourning into music. Out of ruins, we rise. Out of ashes, we worship.
Beauty For Ashes is a Christian Hard Rock band from Indianapolis, IN. What started as a calling became a movement — faith-driven metal that doesn't shy away from the heavy stuff. We write about the darkest parts of ourselves because that's where God's light shines brightest. Every song is a testimony, every show is a service, every lyric is a prayer.
Connected to FreshFire Bible Church and the Crossfire Collective, we're more than musicians — we're ministers. We've led worship services, organized community events, and used our platform for suicide prevention awareness. This isn't just music. This is ministry with distortion pedals.
